Terms of engagement

Estimates and quotes

The first estimate is free and carries no obligation. Quotes are broken down by milestone: you see the cost of each step and can stop after any of them.

Prices on this site are starting points. The final figure depends on the number of scenarios, integrations and design scope, and is fixed in the contract.

Payment

Work is paid per milestone: a deposit up front, the remainder on acceptance. Long projects can be billed monthly instead.

Timelines

Timelines are fixed in the contract for each milestone. If a slip is our fault, we compensate with extra hours rather than shifting the blame.

Delays on your side (approvals, content, access) move the schedule by the same amount.

Ownership

Once a milestone is paid in full, all exclusive rights to the materials and code created transfer to you. The repository is handed over with its commit history and documentation.

We reserve the right to mention the project in our portfolio — if you would rather we did not, tell us before we start.

Warranty and support

For two months after launch we fix defects caused by us free of charge. New features and changed requirements are billed separately.

Ongoing support is arranged as a subscription with an SLA, or billed hourly.

Confidentiality

We are happy to sign an NDA before discussing details. Access to your systems is requested on a least-privilege basis and revoked once the work is done.
