The problem

Telegram's own web client is boxed in by what a browser API allows: some features and stable video streaming simply are not available.

What we did

We built a monorepo: a Next.js/React frontend, an Express/PostgreSQL backend for analytics, and a TDLib integration for the real protocol instead of browser workarounds. The same UI base carried over to an Electron desktop client and a React Native mobile client with native TDLib.

The outcome

One product across three platforms from a shared UI base, native video streaming, and features the official web client does not have.

TDLib instead of working around browser limits — and the same UI base carried over to desktop and mobile with barely a rewrite.
